stop this warfare mr. senator, not the bill. / my response

[From the invisible children : columbia college chicago group]: "This is a pivotal moment for the LRA Disarmament and Northern Uganda Recovery Act that would essentially put a stop to the 23+ year warfare ravaging central and eastern Africa. The passing of the bill is currently being stopped by one man - Senator Coburn from Oklahoma. If he doesn't remove his hold soon, the bill could die, considerably slowing down the peace process."

[My Response]: This bill needs to be passed. What I don't understand is why someone wouldn't want peace in that nation unless they were involved with something illegal. There's not wrong with peace unless that gets in the way of a dirty politician.
Any words, senator coburn from oklahoma?
